Buffalo River Fest Free Concert "Only Humen"

OnWednesday, July 11th the Valley Community Association will behosting the fourth week of their “Wednesday Night Concert Series”at Buffalo River Fest Park, located at 249 Ohio Street, Buffalo, New York. The concertwill run from 6pm to 10pm and will feature the local band Only Humen.

Inducted in 1995 into theBuffalo Music Hall of Fame Band, Only Humenhas been rocking Western New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohiosince late 1986. Hailing from Buffalo, NY they are one of the most polished bandsin the area and they please crowds of all age groups and backgrounds, playingclubs, concerts, private parties, weddings, corporate events, casinos, themeparks, churches, and more. Band members include South Buffalo’s Frank Pusateri (Bass/Vocals), Rick McEvoy(Drums/Vocals), and Jonathan Britt (Lead Guitar/Vocals).

OnlyHumen has been the opening act for such notables as Molly Hatchett, Marshall Tucker Band, TravisTritt, The Kentucky Headhunters, The Sawyer Brown Band, Blake Shelton,Gary Richrath/REO Speedwagon, The Mamas and the Papas,The Byrds, The Drifters,The Platters, The Coasters,Del Shannon, and Herman’s Hermits.

The trio’s stageshow has a blend of polished vocals and harmonies, humor, and high energy. Playinghits by The Beatles, Stones, Creedance ClearwaterRevival, Bob Seger, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Tom Petty, Van Morrison, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, The Doobie Brothers, JohnMellencamp, Wild Cherry, The Commodores, Englebert Humperdinck, Neil Diamond, Men At Work, TheTragically Hip, James, 3 Doors Down, The Fixx,Kid Rock, Keith Urban, Jimmy Eat World, Sublime, Def Leppard, and ACDC keeps the band in the forefront of the WNY area musicscene. Food and refreshmentswill be sold at the concerts, with all proceeds benefitting the Buffalo River Fest Park, so no coolers will beallowed. Spectators are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs andblankets.
