The South Buffalo Education Center celebrates new site

The South Buffalo Education Center, founded by Assemblyman Mark J.F. Schroeder in 2002, celebrated their new site at 2234 Seneca Street with a press conference to thank all their partners.

The South Buffalo Education Center has the highest graduation rate for GED's is highest in New York State for this type of program. Stacey Watson is the executive director.
Partners included the Buffalo Building Trades Council, the Department of Social Services, Buffalo Public Schools Adult Education Division, Erie Community College, HSBC Bank, Cornell University Extension, the Greater South Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, People Inc., SMH Associates, the United States Armed Forces, AmeriCorps, the United Way, Penn Foster University, and many others.
Many companies helped to make the new site a success, including Deltex Electric, Mader Construction, Weydman Electric, Grove Roofing, Scheules Paint Supply, and Heritage Contract Flooring.
