About the Greater South Buffalo Chamber of Commerce

Welcome to the Website of the Greater South Buffalo Chamber of Commerce.

Our mission is to support and promote our business environment while strengthening the relationship between our commercial, residential, and nonprofit communities.

This great organization was created to serve the neighborhoods of:

• South Buffalo
• Kaisertown
• East Lovejoy
• The Old First Ward
• The Valley
• Clinton-Bailey
• Seneca-Babcock

The Greater South Buffalo Chamber of Commerce was formed in 2001 by Mark J.F. Schroeder, then an Erie County Legislator and now a member of the New York State Assembly, in partnership with local business leaders.

Recognizing a need to better support local merchants and neighborhoods, the chamber was formed with a volunteer board of directors from the business community. The board created a series of successful events and publications which continue to grow and expand in order to promote our region.
